A grand naming ceremony for hull No.9922 and 9923, two 25,000 DWT chemical carriers ordered by Lee Chang Yung Chemical Industry Corp., Taiwan, was held on February 24, 2001. The christening took place in No. 1 berth and was attended by Mr. Bowei Lee, president of Lee Chang Yung Chemical Industry Corp. and his wife, as well as Mr. J. I. Lee, president of HMD. Many other distinguished guests and HMD staff also participated in this ceremony.
Two vessels have the transportation capacity of 31,000㎥ chemical products and were named k.k.No.3 and k.k.No.5 each by Ms. Christine Young, wife of Mr. Bowei Lee, president.

K. K. No. 3 sailed out on February 26 and k. K. No. 5 on April 16, 2001 successfully. Lee Chang Yung Chemical Group was registered for the first Taiwanese ship owner, who opened shipbuilding contract in HMD.
