Shipbuilding Contract for 2,800 TEU Container Vessel

HMD has been awarded a contract for the shipbuilding of one 2,800 TEU Container vessel with Suisse-Atlantique, Switzerland and three 2,800 TEU Container vessels with Christian J. Ahrenkiel (Holding), Switzerland and the execution of the contract were made Suisse-Atlantique's head office in Lausanne, Switzerland on March 29, 2001.
With an overall length of 221 M, a breadth of 30 M and a depth of 16.8 M, and an 34,300 HYUNDAI B & W main engine having a service speed of 22.5 knots, the vessels are scheduled for delivery within the end of 2003.
