HMD had a steel cutting ceremony for six 50,000 DWT product/chemical tankers and four 40,000 DWT product/chemical tankers on October 26 and 27. Four of five 50,000 DWT product/chemical tankers and six 50,000 DWT product/chemical tankers were ordered from British Petroleum in 2013.

The blocks for the carriers will begin to be assembled from May 2016 and will be delivered in October.

BP was established in 1915 and manages 100 fleets of product/chemical tankers and drillships.
