HMD had a keel laying ceremony for the first of three reefer containership ordered from Dole Food Company on April 23.

The ship will be launched at the end of July and delivered to the shipowner in December.

It measures 190m in length, 30 m in width, and 17 m in depth.

It will be equipped with a water cooling system to keep fruit and vegetables fresh, an electric-controlled engine, two gantry cranes on the upper deck, and one thruster on the front and back of the containership.
