The work commencement and steel cutting ceremonies for two(2) 35,000DWT product carriers for both Bottiglieri Navigazione and Navigazione Montanari were held on October 19, 2001 in the hull assembly shop at HMD in the presence of the owner’s representative and many other parties involved with the new construction program.

HMD won these newbuilding contracts on August 29, 2000 and January 31, 2001 respectively through an international competition.

Taking this opportunity, HMD will demonstrate its technical abilities and accomplish the production in a timely and professional manner, resulting in a beneficial relationship between Owner and HMD.
