Yu Kwan Hong, former senior executive vice president of HHI was appointed President of HMD on Feb.1, 2002.

Mr.Yu spent 30years at HHI, since 1973, working mostly in the Shipbuilding Division.

In an inaugural address, he emphasized that HMD staff should ensure that all efforts be directly related to and concentrated on production with a “Safety First” spirit.
