HMD held a naming ceremony for a 37,000-dwt product/chemical tanker (H0028) at Quay No. 1 on May 16, 2002.

K. H. Yu, president of HMD, Emmanuel A. Vordonis, executive director of Thenamaris, and others attended the ceremony to celebrate its successful construction. It was named the Seapromise by Miss Gillian V. Oppen.

The vessel was the third unit of four identical product/chemical tankers awarded by Thenamaris in March 2000 and was designed to have a length of 182.5m, a width of 27.3m, and a depth of 16.7m with a service speed of 14.5 knots.
