HMD held a delivery ceremony for a cable-laying vessel (H0030) on July 15, 2002, in the presence of the owner’s representatives, class surveyors, and HMD staff.

The event included a blessing ceremony for safe operation, and a continuous relationship between the two companies.

The vessel was named Île de Bréhat in November 2001 and is the last unit of three identical cable-laying vessels ordered by Alcatel / Louis Dreyfus, France.

Île de Sein and Île de Batz were delivered to the owner in January and March 2002, respectively.
