HMD held a naming ceremony for a 35,000-dwt product/chemical tanker (H0020) ordered by Mediterranea Di Navigazione SpA of Italy.

Mr. Giorgio Cagnoni, chairman of Mediterranea, and Mr. Paolo Cagnoni, president of Mediterranea as well as HMD president Mr. K. H. Yu and other 30 guests attended the ceremony, celebrating the successful construction of the vessel. The vessel was named the Shogun by Mr. Giorgio Cagnoni.

This vessel is designed to have a length of 176m, a width of 31m, and a depth of 17m with a service speed of 15 knots.

Mediterranea Di Navigazione, established in 1910, is one of the prominent shipping companies in Italy having many chemical tankers.
