HMD held a Year 2002 Business Strategy Meeting at Hill House in HMD last August 9-10 and President Mr. K. H. Yu, all the senior management staff, HMD representatives stationed overseas and domestic offices, HVS representative and 40 chief managers from each departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the current development of the shipbuilding market, sales performance in the 1st half of this year and progress of targeted production volume were comprehensively reviewed. Furthermore, new business strategy for the 2nd half based on the expected future development of the market and the internal environment was set up.

It was stressed once again by President Mr. K. H. Yu at the end of the meeting that sales target should be achieved as planed with more positive and aggressive marketing even business in shipping and shipbuilding were getting worse than expected for which all HMD staff should proceed with new fresh company oriented mind.
