Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) won an order for 25 ships in August. Four 51,000 DWT chemical/product tankers were ordered from Scorpio Tankers on August 12.

The ships measure 183 m in length, 32 m in width, and 19 m in height and will be delivered in March and June next year.

Four 38,000 m3 LPG carriers and a 12,000 m3 LEG carrier were ordered from an European shipping company on August 27 and 28.

Two 28,000 DWT ro-ro carriers were ordered from an European shipping company and two 50,000 DWT chemical/product tankers from a Japanese company on August 31.

Six 7,500– 7,700 DWT pure car and truck carriers were ordered, two 1,600 TEU containerships from Korea Shipping Company, two 50,000 DWT product carriers from Asia Shipping Company, and two 75,000 DWT product carriers were ordered in September.
